Kohei Hasegawa, MD, MPH, PhD

 

Dr. Kohei Hasegawa is the Director of Translational Research Program in the EMNet, Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Harvard Medical School, and attending physician at the MGH Department of Emergency Medicine.  He is additionally a Faculty of Program in Quantitative Genetics at Harvard School of Public Health.

 

Dr. Hasegawa received his bachelor’s degree from Keio University (Japan), MD/PhD degrees from Tokai University (Japan), and Master of Science (Computational Biology and Quantitaive Genetics) and Public Health degrees from Harvard University.  He completed his emergency medicine residency at the Harvard Affiliated Emergency Medicine Residency program (MGH and Brigham & Women’s Hospital).

 

Dr. Hasegawa is the founder/director of the Japanese Emergency Medicine Network (JEMNet) and a Steering Committee Member of EMNet, multi-center collaborations that aim to improve public health through projects in emergency care, particularly clinical and transnational research.
